The Squadron Supreme finally make their move against the Avengers, starting with Iron Man and Captain America. With the rest of the team separated, it's up to Falcon to help communicate with the others and beat their rivals.
But how long will they last and, more importantly, what is the Squadron's endgame?
- Accidental Murder: Ant-Man accidentally killed one of his ants in the past by stepping on him, a fact he still feels guilty about.
- All According to Plan: Part of the problem with fighting Nighthawk is he's anticipated just about everything the Avengers could do.
- Badass in Distress: Cap and Iron Man are captured at the beginning of the episode, and at the end Thor is captured by the Squadron.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Zarda is a brutal Blood Knight, but she hates fighting dirty, and critisizes Natasha for it.
- Faking the Dead: The Avengers shrink themselves onto Mjolnir, making it look like they were caught in the destruction of the Squadron's citadel, so they can plan their counterattack.
- Party Scattering: Nighthawk teleports the Avengers to various places; Thor, Ant-Man and Hawkeye go up against Speed Demon and Doctor Spectrum, while Hulk and Black Widow contend with Zarda, and Falcon gets zapped back to New York.
- Sickly Green Glow: Nuke, the last member of the Squadron, gives off one of these. Because, y'know, radioactive.
