Dark Secret: Gloria reveals the truth about why she and Mike are now split, this time for good.
Daddy's Girl: After all these years, it is still clear that Archie still considers the "Little Goil" to be the pride and joy in his life, and even though he never truly liked Mike and is angry at him for leaving her and Joey, he is heartbroken for Gloria and that the marriage ultimately collapsed (and also, in a way, that Mike will soon no longer be a part of his life) ... and now realizes Gloria's depending on him for emotional support.
Parental Abandonment: It's revealed Mike left Gloria and Joey to live in a commune. The spin-off series Gloria reveals that Gloria was awarded custody and Mike was granted visitation rights, and two episodes followed upon the changed father-son relationship.
