Series Continuity Error: During the AiTF episode "Archie's Road Back," it was established that Archie owned a majority share (60 percent) of the business to Harry Snowden's 40 percent. By the time this episode aired, dialogue reveals the two as equal partners. While some fans have speculated that Harry purchased another 10 percent of the business to create the 50-50 split, it is generally accepted among viewers that the series' bible was ignored, a rarity in a show that was very consistent with continuity.
Welcome Episode: Partially averted. Viewers knew this show before as All In The Family, but for those longtime viewers there were enough changes — primarily that most of the action would be taking place at Archie's Place, and new characters (namely, Murray Klein) — that give the old favorite a fresh look.
Promotion to Opening Titles: Added to the opening credits' slate were Danny Dayton (as Hank Pivnik), Allan Melvin (as Barney Hefner), Bill Quinn (as blind customer Edgar Van Renseleer) and Jason Wingreen (as Harry Snowden), who were previously billed in the closing credits in only the episodes they appeared in.
