Episode Tropes:

• Call-Back: The gang recalls when Ray got poisoned by the snake and the spider, which Ray recalls to complain to Archer for not visiting him at the hospital.
• Can't Kill You, Still Need You: As much the Agency hates Fabian, they have reservations against killing him. Ray reveals that he was pretending to defect to Fabian to capture him and clear their names, especially since Slater was going to double-cross everyone anyway.
• Caught Monologuing: Fabian's attempt to monologue is cut short when Archer simply shoots him mid-sentence.
• Cut His Heart Out with a Spoon: Lana threatens Ray in case there is a chance he'll double cross the Agency.
  Lana: Hey Ray, I just want to say that I appreciate the sacrifices you made.
  Ray: Finally. Someone. Thank you.
  Lana: But if you do betray us, I'll flay you under a lemon juice waterfall. I'll make an Aztec blood sacrifice look like a girl scout jamboree. Now gulp, and then say "Yes Lana."
  Ray: Yes Lana.
  • Archer follows it up with one of his own.
    Archer: Woof. Huh, buddy. Sorry about Lana. Because I think she was a little too lenient. And speaking of jamborees, I will roast marshmallows over your burning, but still barely alive body.
• Earn Your Happy Ending: The gang finally catches Fabian and, before turning him in to Interpol, one-ups Slater and the rest of the CIA. No longer framed, they return to the Agency free of IIA's grasp. After considering the choice between his typical hot-shot lifestyle and taking responsibility for carrying on Malory's legacy, Archer decides to officially make Lana the new leader, the latter of whom makes plans for the Agency's future.
• Fake Defector: Contrary to what the gang expected at the end of the previous episode, Ray was actually working as The Mole for the CIA.
• Hypocrite: Archer of all people criticizes Slater for not being subtle despite being a spy.
• Laser-Guided Karma: Fabian gets bitten by the same type of spider that bit Ray before he's arrested.
• Sadistic Choice: As much as the Agency despises Fabian, they do not want to kill him. Slater said the only option they have is to go back home and get arrested for treason.
• Spiteful Spit: A waiter spits in the martini he prepares for Archer in response to being insulted. Unfortunately for him, Archer sees it and has his gun out already.
  Archer: Oh you little...
• Take a Third Option: The two choices Slater gave the Agency was either kill Fabian or go back home and risk being arrested for treason. However, Lana comes up with a plan that benefits the Agency the most: take Fabian alive and hand him over to someone other than the CIA so they can get their names properly cleared.
• Whatever Happened to the Mouse?: AJ is not seen since she escaped with the rest of the gang last episode, and Manatina's president disappears for the rest of this episode after being rescued.
