A vampire-induced virus is ravaging humanity and unfortunately Master Shake seems to be the world's last hope.
"Vampirus" contains examples of:
- The Bus Came Back: Markula returns for the first time since "Couples Skate" in Season 5.
- Downer Ending: Frylock finds the cure for the vampirus, but said cure triggers a bear apocalypse.
- Foreshadowing: After the vampires refuse to even touch Shake, Markula licks him. He reacts in disgust before stepping back, notably holding his nose as if he was in contact with something stinky. This hints that it's not Shake blood that makes him immune to vampires, but his scent.
- The Immune: Shake appears to be the only one immune to the vampirus and Frylock tries to get a vaccine out of his blood. It turns that Shake is only immune because he uses garlic deodorant.
- No Sympathy: Frylock and Shake are more concerned the cure didn't protect Carl from the vampires than the vampires devouring him to the bone. While it makes sense for Shake, it feels rather out of character for Frylock.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Carl is eaten to the bone by vampires while Shake gets mauled by bears.
- Too Dumb to Live: Shake pouring steak sauce all over his body while surrounded by gigantic man-eating bears is quite possibly the most quintessential example of Shake's poor survival instincts. Even more notable, Shake himself actually admits it.Master Shake: What's up, my bear bitches!(The bears close in on Master Shake)Master Shake: (Horrified) This is the dumbest thing I've ever done!
