Go To

Air date: March 21, 2010

After failing to mug a delivery man for half a million dollars worth of pizza, a hungry Master Shake and his roommates enter a contest in which the last person to take their hands off a gigantic cheeseburger wins the entire sandwich.

Tropes that pertain to this episode:

  • All for Nothing: Shake orders a lot of pizzas in the beginning that ends with a bill of $539,000; he promptly tries and fails to beat up the delivery guy to avoid paying, and the pizza shop takes them all back.
  • And You Thought It Was a Game: The whole contest turns out as a ploy for Dr. Wong burger, who is now a cheeseburger, to kidnap the winner.
  • Anthropomorphic Food: Dr. Wong is now a cheeseburger.
  • The Bus Came Back: For Dr. Wong Burger, who, instead of a dick or a molar, is now a cheeseburger. He seems to have achieved whatever his goals were in his first two episodes since he no longer has to create Cool Starship but is now just interested in snagging someone to accompany him into space. Also, the CIA agents from The Movie reappear as pizza delivery men.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Frylock murders Phil for either talking to him or simply for his association with the contest.
  • Evil All Along: The burger turns out to be Dr. Wongburger after yet another surgery binge. This time his plot is to host a contest to determine who will be abducted to chill out with him on the Hamburger Planet.
  • Foreshadowing: Sharp-eyed and memory-blessed Aqua Teen fans may notice that the Dazzle Burger joint the contest is at is really just the old Wong Burger with the “Wong” covered up.
  • Helping Hands: Shake detaches one of his hands to keep it on the burger as he heads off to the bathroom. Frylock is startled as he didn't know Shake could do that.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Just as Shake gets out of the bathroom and reapplies his hand, Dr. Wong Burger restrains him with his onion rings and abducts him.
  • Literal-Minded: Meatwad doesn't realize that "the whole enchilada" is a figure of speech, and rambles about enchiladas giving him gas for a while.
  • Loophole Abuse: Shake detaches his hand that's still on the burger so he can go urinate. Because his hand is still technically touching the burger, he doesn't get disqualified even after leaving the area.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Shake uses several clever methods to disqualify the contestants, such as making them do a math problem with their fingers, prompting them to give him a high-five or handjob, or convincing them they’re being arrested by the police. If these fail to work he simply assaults them.
  • Nature Tinkling: Meatwad resorts to peeing in the burger, since he really has to go and using a nearby restroom would disqualify him.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: A double whammy. Shake blatantly cheats by simply ripping off his hand, which results in the cheeseburger - Dr. Wongburger in yet another form - breaking disguise and begging Frylock to win the contest because if Shake wins he’ll have to abduct him and be stuck hanging out with him. This immediately convinces Frylock to throw the contest, and seconds later Shake comes back eager to win.
  • Out of Focus: Carl shows up for the contest, and is almost immediately disqualified for trying to high ten Shake.
  • Pride Before Reason: Although the Aqua Teens have essentially won the contest by being the only three remaining, Shake declares that he won’t share it with his roommates out of principle. Him and Frylock end up holding onto the burger for months, long after everybody else has moved on and the thing has turned into a rotten, mold-covered ant colony (which is also their only food source), simply because they refuse to lose.
    • It turns out Shake can simply yank off his hands and still technically qualify, but he only does this after months of playing legitimately and for only a brief period of time before returning. Although Shake being Shake this might be a case of Too Dumb to Live.
    • Wongburger openly admits he really, really doesn’t want to be stuck with Shake and would rather take Frylock, but rather than abduct the latter he sticks to the rules and lets Shake “win” on a technicality.
  • Sapient Eat Sapient: After Frylock kills Phil the contest supervisor by shocking him, he tells Meatwad "let's eat". Meatwad takes out a knife and prepares to shave and prep Phil. Frylock clarifies he meant the free hotdogs at the nearby dealership.
  • Skewed Priorities: The Aqua Teens (specifically Frylock and Shake) still care about winning the burger despite its rotten state. It's implied to be the result of Sanity Slippage, however.
  • Sudden Name Change: Wong Burger is now called Dazzle Burger.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: Frylock acts just as irrationally as Shake, plots to murder Shake simply to win a meaningless contest, and murders Phil for unspecified reasons.
