Dr. Weird creates a machine which makes rainbows. The machine is then stolen (or found) by two leprechauns. They send messages over the Internet, luring people to the park with the promise of gold. Frylock doesn't fall for it; Carl does. The Aqua Teens intervene to force the leprechaun thieves out of business.

"Escape from Leprechaupolis" contains examples of:

  • Answer Cut: When Frylock first reads the ridiculous email the Leprechauns send to trap people, he comments "Man, who'd be STUPID enough to fall for this?" We immediately cut to Carl standing in the park waiting for the Leprechauns to appear.
  • Bare Midriffs Are Feminine: Dingle has this on top of his Camp Gay ensemble, showing off plenty of his gut.
  • Blatant Lies: Flargon claims that the Leprechauns didn't commit the crimes of using a laptop to send emails to lure people to the park, then activating the Rainbow Maker 5000 to suck them up and mug them for their belongings. He makes this claim while standing in front of a laptop, the Rainbow Maker, and a massive pile of stuff that the Leprechauns have stolen. Master Shake, being Too Dumb to Live, accepts the claim of "We didn't do it" as proof of their innocence and leaves.
  • Call-Back: The Leprechauns take Dr. Weird's Rainbow Maker 5000 and escape through the hole that Rabbot made in the last episode.
  • Chain Letter: The Leprechauns send this to people to lure them into a trap.
  • Continuity Nod: Carl gets thrown into his roof again, this time by the Rainbow Maker.
  • It's All Junk: Played for Laughs when Flargon claims that the Leprechauns have been stealing "precious treasure" from passerby. Said treasure is a pile of random garbage.
Merle: Oh, what, like this Bananarama tape with no case? Yeah, we really scored big on that one.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: The Leprechauns gets crushed by Carl's house when using the Rainbow Maker on it.
  • Never Trust a Title: The place called "Leprechaupolis" is never seen or mentioned (unless you count the forest) nor do the Aqua Teens ever escape from anything.
  • Skewed Priorities: Shake only wants to get the gold from the Leprechauns rather than helping Carl.
  • Token Human: It's revealed that Merle is actually human.
  • Tuckerization: Merle's voice actor name is Andy Merril
  • Only Sane Man: Merle is this to Flargon.
