A man named Keiichiro Tachibana decides to open up a Western cake shop. While interviewing for a patisserie, he encounters a man whom he went to high school with. More specifically, a boy whose confession he vehemently rejected.
- Almost Kiss: Thinking that Keiichiro will inevitably fall for him, Ono tries to get him to give in and kiss him. Thankfully, Keiichiro stops him before he does anything serious.
- Anguished Declaration of Love: Ono made one to Keiichiro in high school. He knew very well that Keiichiro was popular with the girls, but he wanted to make his feelings known.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Keiichiro was kidnapped twenty-eight years ago by a man who hadn't been arrested. As a result, he's is plagued by nightmares of his time spent with the man.
- Misery Builds Character: Even though Keiichiro's rejection hurt him deeply and even made him consider suicide, Ono was able to build himself up and be more active in his pursuit of other men.
- Not Distracted by the Sexy: Keiichiro is the only man not to fall for Ono's charm. Even when told his nickname (the Gay of Demonic Charm), he starts laughing.
- Precision F-Strike: What Keiichiro said to Ono years ago."Die, homo/f**!"
- Repressed Memories: Keiichiro's rejection was so traumatic that Ono initially didn't recognize Keiichiro. It's only after he's told who he is that he fully remembers the rejection.
- So Beautiful, It's a Curse: Ono confesses that he's so attractive that he makes straight men go after him and his charm is the reason for him getting fired/let go multiple times.
