- Too Dumb to Live: Lampshaded by Nora. When the Warners close in on them, she points out that they were stupid to stay where they were. Not only that, but Ralph eats a donut which Scratchansniff says he ate too much of, attracting the Warners to devour them.

- "Groundhog Day" Loop: Much like the part before it, Brain is still stuck in a time loop. He realizes it to be more problematic when he is still stuck in the loop after taking over the world over 200 times.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: Brain thinks he has finally taken over the world and in doing so has broken the time loop he is stuck in. Unfortunately, he quickly finds out to be wrong about the latter as the day is reset once again.

- Call-Back: The episode really pays tribute to the first episode of the original series with Jurgen detailing how Otto became consumed with work upon meeting the Warners. He even starts pulling his hair out the same way his brother did.
- The Dog Bites Back: When the Warners are about to be disected by Jurgen, they convince their copies to start standing up for themselves, prompting them all to turn on Jurgen and send him drifting off on a raft all tied up.
- Similar Squad: Downplayed. Ditto, Ratto, and Saffo are made to be very much like the Warners. As Dot notes though, they don't exactly act like them.
