Tropes:
- Breather Episode: According to Matt Braly's Twitter, this is the last "fun" episode of the show before it's time to bring the resistance together to finally take down Andrias in the next episode.
- The Bus Came Back: Domino 2 returns in this episode.
- Cute Kitten: Given that Domino 2 is a cat moth, her caterpillars act like kittens, with all that this entails.
- Cuteness Proximity: The frogs (and Sasha) slowly become infatuated by the baby cat moths and accept them into their group, despite being completely against them from the start.
- Fluffy Tamer: Anne fully tames Domino 2 in this episode, and since Domino 2 is the "Alpha" moth, she ends up taming them all.
- Heroes Love Dogs: Sasha points out that she's a dog person. A baby moth immediately scratches her face.
- Horse of a Different Color: With Domino 2 and the moths now on their side, Sasha realizes this means the resistance now has an air calvary.
- Killer Rabbit: Apparently, the moth species ate Grime's uncle and left him as bones. He still ends up being smitten by the baby moths.
- Monster Is a Mommy: Domino 2 has had babies by the time of the episode.
- Mood Whiplash: Just after a touching moment where Domino 2 shows she remembers Anne, Sprig is hilariously eaten by one of the other moths.
- Musical Nod: As Anne is flying Domino 2, an orchestral rendition of "Flight Of The Moth", Sprig's fiddle song in "Fiddle Me This", can be heard.
- No One Gets Left Behind: Despite Sprig's protests, Anne refuses to let Domino 2 suffer her fate and saves her babies as well. She also frees the other moths as well.
- Ridiculously Cute Critter: Despite knowing what they are, no one can resist how cute Domino 2's babies are, even Hop Pop and Grime.
- Shout-Out:
- The kitten that Grime gets attached to is purple with massive ears, bringing to mind Beerus from Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods
- When entranced by the baby moths, Hop Pop briefly quotes from A Midsummer Night's Dream.
- Swallowed Whole: This marks the most times Sprig nearly gets eaten by something, to the point he lampshades it before it happens. By the end of the episode, he asks that the resistance begin training the Kill-a-moths so it won't happen again as one begins to try eating his head.
- Uncatty Resemblance: Domino 2's babies all wind up being adopted by someone they resemble.
