During a memorial service for the 97 people killed in the bus crash from the previous episode, Francine and Stan clash over how to raise Steve now that Hayley proved to be a failure, and Stan creates a clone of Steve so he can raise him right. Meanwhile, Roger travels to Thailand to harass Hayley and Jeff for the $50,000 reward.

- Abusive Parents: If Stan were allowed complete control of Steve's upbringing, his controlling and domineering behavior would eventually lead to Steve becoming a cat-torturing sociopath.
- Ax-Crazy: Thanks to Stan's bossy nature, Steve-arino becomes a cat killer.
- Bait-and-Switch: At the funeral, Stan receives a call from Roger who's apparently in an office somewhere. But he's actually in a miniature set with a backdrop right next to him.
- Bowdlerize: The broadcast version changes Steve's use of the word "butthole" to "bottom" and bleeps out his utterance of "shitballs".
- Calling the Young Man Out: After Steve proves to be an Ungrateful Bastard immediately after he's freed from Stevearino's cage, Francine finally has enough and slaps him twice before telling him to stop being a brat.Francine: Steven Smith, I am your mother! If you don't get out of that cage, I will push you back up my clownhole, birth you again, and name you my bitch! NOW GET OUT OF THAT CAGE!
- Didn't Think This Through: Roger didn't consider that Hayley and Jeff would use their $50,000 to escape from him.
- The Fat Episode: Steve puts on weight from his poor diet due to Francine's coddling.
- Fat Slob: Francine's lax parenting results in Steve becoming an obnoxious, chubby slob who spends all his time demanding junk food, playing video games, and masturbating.
- Injured Self-Drag: Parodied. Stan clones Steve and raises the clone (named Stevearino) in a highly disciplined manner to prove his way is the best way to bring Steve up. This backfires, causing Stevearino to become a psychopath who kills animals and intends to murder Steve to replace him. At the end of the episode, Stevearino is seemingly killed by an explosion and left for dead by the Smith family. However, it's shown that he's still alive, though injured. He spots one of the cats he tortured and a gun that's between them. The two try to crawl to it, with the cat getting there first and shooting Stevearino.
- Loud of War: Roger's plan to get the money is to shout "MYAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" in order to annoy Hayley and Jeff.
- Meaningless Villain Victory: Roger manages to annoy Hayley and Jeff enough for the reward money, but only receives a minuscule amount as they spent the majority of the $50,000 trying to get away from him.
- Sequel Episode: To 100 A.D. as it focuses on the aftermath of the episode.
- Spoiled Brat: Steve, big time, thanks to Francine's extremely lax parenting turning him into an obnoxious, entitled slob who treats her like crap.Francine: Steve will find his way-Steve: SHUT! UP! MOM! BRING! ME! MORE! CHIPS! (Proceeds to fart and belch at the same time before passing out)
