Julien has found a letter on the beach from a poor king who lost his kingdom. The letter asks for an offering of mangoes promising to return them in triple later. While Maurice is skeptical of the obvious scam, Julien sends the offering anyways, and to everyone's surprise, the offering is returned in triple!
...and with another letter this time offering the same deal, but asking for the entire kingdom. Eager to rule three kingdoms at once, Julien readily sends everything away, only for nothing to come back. Julien decides to meet the poor king in person to investigate and finds himself captured by Crimson and Uncle King Julien.
The poor king who lost his kingdom in question, Uncle Julien has used Julien's resources to build "Feartopia", a walled in prison from which there is no escape and Uncle Julien holds the only key. Vowing to make everyone suffer, particularly Julien, Uncle Julien locks Julien up in the "Iron Booty" and throws him into solitary confinement determined to break him completely.

- Crimson hires Sage Moondancer to assassinate Clover. Interestingly, Clover refers to Sage as her "one-time ex-boyfriend, just sort of. Almost."
- Uncle Julien admits to Julien XIII that the only reason he gave Julien XIII the crown in "King Me" was because he was supposed to die by the fossa.
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Julien pretends to be broken in order to get Uncle Julien to lower his guard. The Iron Booty doesn't even phase him, as he simply shakes his booty so hard that the Iron Booty explodes.
- Hypocritical Humor: Uncle Julien calls his nephew a "Tub of lard" as an insult. While Julien XIII does have a notable pot belly, he's nowhere near as overweight as Uncle Julien himself is.
- Linked List Clue Methodology: Crimson uses one of these, using presents from a "secret admirer" to keep Clover busy for most of the episode.
- Not Afraid of You Anymore: The kingdom finally realizes that Uncle Julien is just a cowardly lemur and stand up to him.
- Shmuck Bait: Uncle Julien knows Julien XIII is a little dense, but even he's suprised Julien XIII could fall for such an obvious scam.
- Took a Level in Jerkass: Here Uncle Julien seems less interested in returning the status quo to the time of his rule and more interested in making his former kingdom suffer, implying that was always the primary goal of his "hide or be eaten" rule.
