Continues from Het Schaakspel (Alfred's Chess Adventure)
Alfred comes to believe that his adventure with the white queen was a dream, until Krabnagel, who is suspected of the burglaries, calls Alfred to confirm his alibi. Alfred and the queen go and confront Dolf, but he takes off with the queen's crown.
Tropes:
- Ambiguous Situation: Was the two-parter a dream or not? Dolf's behavior seems to imply that something happened the previous night and Alfed was somehow involved. Krabnagel's story also supports it, because he saw the burglary and he told the police Alfred was also there with a white chess queen, though whether he saw a normal chess piece or a humanoid one was left ambiguous.
- Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy: Krabnagel shoots at Sherlock several times while he's out in the open and he has the high ground, but doesn't hit a single time. At least Sherlock was zigzagging.
- Recycled Animation: The episode reuses the previous episode's scene where Alfred sets the White Queen down in front of his house, and she turns humanoid and creates herself a red cloak. The sound effects are also recycled.
- Weirdness Censor: Similar to the previous episode, nobody is bothered by or even reacting to the White Queen's human appearance, complete whiteness, or the fact that she's basically a floating torso with no lower half.
