Although he enjoys it at first, he eventually starts to suffer from all the crappy glitches and stupid designs of the product, such as everything running through iTunes for some reason and the phone's tendency to delete everything off your phone.

- Cultural Blending: Especially for Spanish this episode, (i.e. Salim is heard saying "Si" as the Arabic word for "Yes" and Yasser is heard saying "Que? for "What?") However, they also do a joke for Israeli too, with Yasser saying "Oi!" for "Oh!".
- Double Take: Ahmed does this after hearing Salim's plan to commit suicide.Ahmed: How the fuck did you convince dad to buy you an iPhone 5!?Salim: I told him I'd kill lots of Jews by committing suicide in Tel-Aviv!Ahmed: Holy, shit! I can't believ-Wait, what? Let me get this straight. So, you agreed to kill yourself for an iPhone 5?Salim: ... Yes ...Ahmed: Yeah, okay. Makes sense.
- Evil Plan: Yasser's plan is to have Salim go down to Tel Aviv and blow himself with a homing missile, that will be activated with the controls of the iPhone 5. However, thanks to the iPhone 5's shittiness, the controls crap out and the homing missile is redirected to "Default", (AKA Right back at home), landing the missile on Yasser instead.
- Extreme Omnisexual: Yasser has sex with Habub's iPhone 5.
- Gilligan Cut: Played with. Ahmed uses the power of gilligan cuts to get himself an iPhone by saying "I'll never get an iPhone" and it succeeds. However, he accidentally gets rid of it by saying "Nothing can take it away.", which cues another gilligan cut, which makes it disappear.Ahmed: Dammit. I want an iPhone 5 so bad ... Hmm, ... Maybe I'll try that trick they always do on sitcoms. [ahem] Oh, what a bummer! I'll bever have an iPhone 5![Gilligan cut to Ahmed with an iPhone 5]Ahmed: Ah! I can't believe it actually worked!
