The sixty-first episode of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Lazy con-man Easy Eddie has the Chaos Emerald ring stuck on his finger, and Robotnik wants it for one of his evil schemes, so he can use the emerald to sink 100 square miles of Mobius into the sea. Sonic must keep Easy Eddie hidden so that he can discard the ring.

Robotnik: Of course! I'm a fake nice person! - Give Me Back My Wallet: When Sonic and Tails take Eddie to Professor Von Schlemmer's laboratory, Sonic catches Eddie trying to take Von Schlemmer's wallet from his lab coat and tells him to put it back.
- Hypocritical Humor: After Robotnik pays Eddie in counterfeit money to give him the Chaos Emerald Ring, he has Scratch and Grounder take him to his dungeon. Eddie then shouts, "You phony! I can't stand dishonesty!". This is coming from a pickpocket.
- Losing Your Head: Happens to Grounder when Eddie flies into him and Scratch.
- Missed Meal Aesop: In this episode's "Sonic Says" segment, Sonic skips breakfast and as a result, he doesn't have enough energy to dodge Scratch and Grounder when they pounce at him. Fortunately for Sonic, Tails moves him out of the way just in time, causing the two robots to fall off a cliff. After Sonic and Tails have breakfast together, Sonic explains to the viewers that their bodies need food like a car needs fuel, and advises them to eat a good breakfast every morning.
- Mythology Gag: The Secret Zone of Mobius resembles the Special Stage from Sonic 1.
- Near-Villain Victory: Near the end of the episode, Robotnik succeeds in getting the Chaos Emerald Ring, then goes to the Secret Zone and puts it in the Activation Chamber. Just before he can sink 100 square miles of Mobius into the sea, Sonic arrives and takes the ring back. When Robotnik asks Sonic how he knew he'd be there, Sonic tells him that he deduced that Eddie would sell him the ring, and once he had it, he couldn't wait to use it.
- Stock "Yuck!": Eddie is revealed to dislike chili dogs, in contrast to Sonic and Tails, who both love them.
- X-Ray Sparks: Happens to Eddie after he flies into Von Schlemmer's Delicate Laser Device. It's this very act that gets the Chaos Emerald Ring off his finger.
