- Let Me Get This Straight...: Before they fight after the reveal that the Ice King brainwashed Old Lady Princess, Jake asks to clarify that he knew he had complete control over her. This means that guilt-tripping Finn and him into throwing him a "manlerette" party under the pretense of assuaging his fears that marriage is worth it and she wasn't a gold digger was completely pointless because everything was solely his choice and she was never outside his control. Ice King's only excuse is that he's "spontaneous" (read: insane).
- No Social Skills: As shown through the "man-lorette party" montage, the Ice King has little etiquette in public, often getting into trouble with everyone.
