A group of Navajo try to shut down a uranium mine that they believe is poisoning the reservation.
- Bittersweet Ending: Derrick is dead, gunned down by the corrupt FBI agent he was working for. But the mine is shut down, and the crooked agent is arrested thanks to the bailiff.
- Conflicting Loyalties: The crux of the conflict, with Derrick wrestling with the decision to either save himself or do good for his people. He ultimately chooses his people, at the cost of his life.
- The Mole: Derrick is working with the FBI to bust his friends, part of a deal that got him out of prison.
