"You look at Van Beuren cartoons, and they seem to rewrite the laws. They'll give an artist a scene like "Okay, have the guy come up from the horizon on a horse, zigzag up the screen, this horse screeches to a stop, he gets off the horse and goes in the bar in this western town, and they'll give a guy one day to animate that, and he wouldn't even lose any sweat over it, yknow cause they're not trying to do it anatomically correct, it's very cartoony and they just whip it out. Today if you gave that to an animator, it would take him two weeks and they'd hate you for life."
