Over the next month, approximately 10,000 Sleepers Awaken into the Pattern Resonance, a figure that increases as time goes on. The trickle of new mages becomes a flood. Slapdash cover stories blame plagues and terrorism while the Union hides the bodies and recruits compatible survivors.
