"You have DECEIVED your teacher, Karna! So I will now curse you, that the special knowledge you’ve gained from me note  will FAIL you on the day you need it the most!"
Sage Parashuram

"But, O Brahmin! Isn’t a sin only that which was committed intentionally?"
Karna
"A sin is any action that caused needless suffering, O Karna! Look at what you did! My calf is lying dead, and its mother is withering in sorrow. O, Karna, thou art the Charitable Warrior! Can you return the calf to my cow? Can you give this gift of life? NO!! You can’t. And so, my cow must now suffer, while being unable to punish the one who wronged her. So, it falls to me to do so. O, Karna, I curse you that one day, the very chariot that elevates you above the rest of us, will FAIL you when its wheel gets stuck in the mud. And thus you will be forced to dismount it. And when you do, the monster of fear will surround you, leaving you helpless and quivering in terror before you die."
