This one never made any sense to me. Say you're in a classroom and you've done something stupid [such as throwing a paper aeroplane across the classroom] and the teacher asks you "Oi, what did you do that for?" And you say "Uh...Johnny told me to do it" (which is not a very good reason). Then, the teacher asks "If Johnny told you to jump of a cliff, or shove a cactus up your arse, would you do that as well?!" What?! No, obviously not, ya smart-arse. Do you not see that a line has been crossed in going from throwing a paper aeroplane across the classroom and LEAPING TO MY DEATH?
