"Jojo." The elder Joestar frowned in concern and kneeled in front of Jonathan, never breaking the hold on his hand. "Why do you weep?"

"Father..." His grip tightened, his head dropped, unable to look into the eyes of the man he knew he failed. "I-I... I am so sorry..."

"Sorry?" The elder Joestar ran a hand through Jonathan's hair. "For what could you be sorry for, my son?"

A choked sob, and then "I could not save you..."

"Oh, Jojo." George leaned forward and wrapped his arms around Jonathan as best as he could. "What occurred was not your fault, surely you know this. I chose to protect you, so you did not fail me in any way possible. Am I making myself clear?"

Deadpool: (in body pit) Oh God, it's all true. I'm sorry, Carm. If I had just listened to Luke...I just wanted to help. I'm sorry...this is my fault.
Preston: It's not!
Deadpool: It is! You weren't there! Which hand was Carm holding?
Preston: I don't know!
Deadpool: This is important! One of them could be my daughter! Please don't let Eleanor be here. Please. Please. Don't be in here. Eleanor? Are you he— (falls) Oh, God.
Captain America: Logan, get him out of there!
Wolverine: Get up, Wade.
Deadpool: Luke told me to stay out of it.
Preston: Wade...
Deadpool: (sobbing) Ahhhhuh-oh God. Uff. I killed themahhhhhuhhuh.
Deadpool Vol. 3 #18

Perfect Cell: [Vegeta's] gonna be waking up for the next five years in a cold sweat remembering today! (chuckles) Kind of like you!
Trunks: Like me!?
Cell: Does Gohan know, by the way?
Trunks: Does he know what?
Cell: …That you let him die.
(waves crash sharply against the island)
Trunks: I'm going to power up now.
Cell: (winking) I'd be disappointed if you didn't!

"I lost Gwen. She was my MJ. I couldn't save her. I'm never going to be able to forgive myself for that."

"I… couldn't protect him…"

"You want to know who really killed my wife? I did. I decided we deserved a better life than a Harper's oath would allow us. But I didn't know that Red Wizards marked their treasure. I led them right to our door. I didn't even have the good luck to be home when they got there."

"Be it that of man or dragon, all life is precious, and the loss of loved ones sall ever darken the hearts of those left behind.
Yet death is not the end of what was wrought. The memories forged, the affection shared, the hopes inherited...
Such things grant us the strength to walk unto the morrow, and there is no greater proof of this than the Warrior of Light's journey."
The Wandering Minstrel, Final Fantasy XIV "Dragonsong's Reprise"
