"Like a bad photocopy, each one is a little darker than the last."
Batman, referring to the Everywhere Man, The Batman

Orthopox-13: Shall I tell you a secret? Few of our people know this, but the DNA patterns in our cloning banks are becoming more and more degraded with each new clone.
Crypto-137: That's bad, right?
Orthopox-13: Only if we want to retain our immortality through cloning. OF COURSE IT'S BAD!

Jonah: Whoa... the Servos are starting to come out weird.
Servo #3: Standard robo-genetic mutation.
Female Servo: I'm melodramatic southern belle Servo. Oh, dear, all these handsome Servos! I'm comin' down with the vapors!
Evil Servo: I'm evil Servo. I don't want to be evil, but that's how the Creator made me. So who wants to die first?

As you can see, once you've been twinned thirty or forty times, you're not much good for conversation. Not that you're especially witty right now...
Kaarvok, Farscape

Bitch Brian: Brian, I think my jaw is falling off. (his jaw falls off)
Brian: OH! OH, G— STEWIE, WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THIS THING?!
Stewie: Oh, yeah. It turns out the clones aren't too stable, Brian. I've been having some trouble with mine, too.
Bitch Stewie: (limps in with an eyeball out of its socket) Hey, Stewie, everything sounds like rushing water. And I can't stand up so very good.
Stewie: Yeah, I figure they've got less than a minute before they dissolve completely.
Bitch Brian: Hey, Brian, knock-knock.
Brian: Who's there?
Bitch Brian: (he farts and laughs, then dissolves into a puddle of fleshy goop)
Bitch Stewie: Whoa, I hope that doesn't happen to me! (dissolves)
Brian: (beat) He took my dry cleaning, and I have no idea what he did with the ticket.
Stewie: Yeah, this was not a fruitful endeavor.
Brian: I'm not proud of this, but I need to lick that up.
Family Guy, "Quagmire's Baby"

Vlad: It's taken months, and the good clone still needs more time before he can accept your DNA.
Danny: So, those ghosts...
Vlad: Bad clones. Mistakes. And I would watch a hundred more failures devolve into ectoplasm to get the perfect half-ghost son!
Danny: Oh, yeah. Heh-heh. Nothing loopy about that.
Danny Phantom, "Kindred Spirits"

"But droning was abandoned as an unsound principle a long time ago. There was no way to prevent intellectual deterioration with every batch. How did you get around the fundamental flaws?"
Oslo turns in Styx's direction, and with a concerted effort, Eddie turns and watches too. Styx is standing at a door marked "pull." He is pushing against it, straining violently. When it positively refuses to budge, he takes several steps backwards and hurls himself against it, grunting with pain on the unyielding impact. Dazed, he gets to his feet, steps back, and hurls himself forward again with renewed vigour.
Oslo spins around and walks off. "We didn't."

Jack Slash: Now, it isn’t always done, that a member of the Nine tests their own candidates, but I decided to anyways. Something off about [Oni Lee], wanted to make sure he didn’t embarass me. Told him to come up with something, and he couldn’t. Do you know what tabula rasa is, boy?
Theo: No, sir.
Jack: Blank slate. A piece of paper with nothing on it. A formatted computer. A tombstone without the name on it. Seems that fellow can copy his body just fine when he teleports, but something in his mind gets left behind. Once I realized it, picked up on the fact that he was little more than a robot wanting his orders, I informed him I had decided we had no need for his services, we fought, and… here we are.
