Mr. Kite: WEATHER ALERT! WEATHER ALERT!
Pee-wee Herman: That sounds like Mr. Kite. [To Mr. Kite] Hey, Mr. Kite. What's the weather outside?
Mr. Kite: We are going to have some rain, Pee-wee. For the looks of those clouds, it's going to be a big storm!
Pee-wee Herman: Are you sure, Mr. Kite?

Gordon: Hello, Sproutlets. I'm Gordon from Sesame Street. Every year, There are number of natural disasters that affect many people. Even if you are not directly affected, the television coverage of these events can be scary, especially for young children. Back in 2001, we featured a week-long story about a hurricane on Sesame Street. This story line allowed us to provide strategies and to help children cope with their emotions while faced with a natural disaster. So watch with it your child, and talk about fears or concerns he or she might have.

Kermit the Frog: COULD SOMEBODY PLEASE CLOSE THAT DOOR?!? (to the viewers) Oh, Hi-ho, this is Kermit the Frog from Sesame Street News with a fast-blowing news story! A hurricane could be heading towards Sesame Street. With more details, here is our weather forecaster, Al Roker.
Al Roker: Thank you, Kermit. Here is what the hurricane is as I saw it down here to up there.
Telly Monster: A hurricane?
Zoe: Yeah yeah, What is a hurricane?
Al Roker: A hurricane is a wild storm with lots of wind and rain. And if it keeps going up on this direction, it could hit Sesame Street.
Telly Monster: A hurricane!!!
Elmo: And it's going to hit Sesame Street!
*Both Telly and Elmo scream in a panic attack*
Al Roker: Calm down, folks. We have a lot of preparations before the hurricane comes.
Alan: You know what? I have been to a hurricane before. I have extra supplies of food and drinks stored in here.

Big Bird: [mourning over the loss of his nest] Oh, G-G-Gordon!
Gordon: Oh my. Oh no!
Big Bird: My home! My nest! My everything!

Big Bird: No, it's not!
Gordon: [sighs] You're right. You're right, Big Bird. It's not alright. But it will be alright.
Big Bird: But...but my nest! What happened to my nest?!?
Gordon: Well, the wind was so strong, that it just blew it all apart. [As he comforts Big Bird] Don't worry, Big Bird. I'm with you.

Gabi: Yeah, my mother is good at fixing things.
Luis: Hey, Everybody! We got a plan.
Big Bird: My home, my nest?
Luis: That's what the plan is, Rebuilding your nest. As we can see, There has been a lot damage done here.
Big Bird: A lot of damages?!? Oh, my home, my nest!
Maria: But that's what Luis is trying to tell you. We can fix things.
Big Bird: You can?
Maria: Sure.
Big Bird: (to his teddy bear, Radar) Hey, We can come home tonight.
Maria: No, Big Bird. You won't have it tonight.
Big Bird: But why not?!?
Gordon: Well, Big Bird. Even with everybody pitching in and helping out, That's a lot of work.
Alan: And it will take time.
Big Bird: Then where shall I stay then?
Susan: Well, there's some leftover Birdseed Stew in my apartment.
