This podcast provides examples of:
- Abandon the Disabled: Flak and Zabbas say this after a boulder crushes Coyrim's legs.
- Aesop Amnesia: You think Zabbas would learn about the power of the fireball spell after he accidentally kills 7 people (and almost Juno) with it during a surge of wild magic. Then he does it again when trying to get Margarine angry to get through the other side of the labyrinth and knocks himself out in the process.
- The Alcoholic: Kif, who is never seen sober.
- Anyone Can Die: Cheese (Margarine's pet rat), and almost Juno.
- Backhanded Apology: Happens when Margarine confronts Flak about insulting her to get her angry in order to open the portal at the end of the maze.Flak: I'm sorry that I got us through that puzzle.
- Butt-Monkey: Juno, from everyone except Margarine, especially Zabbas. After he paints a picture of what happened to his family they promise to try to understand him better. That doesn't last long.
- Cerebus Syndrome: Starts out as overtly silly and comedic until Zabbas kills 7 people by accident, they find out what's happening to the missing children, and Coyrim's legs are crushed by a boulder.
- Character Development: Fletch works on his social awkwardness and Juno learns to trust the Team, reducing his bloodlust.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Juno, whose wife and son were murdered by orcs and whose village was burned to the ground.
- Death of a Child: Juno's son, as well as a few of the missing children.
- Elfeminate: Zabbas, who has long, blue hair.
- Establishing Character Moment: After Juno chases the owlbear into the clearing where Margarine, Zabbas, and Flak are, an arrow flies out from nowhere and Fletch is introduced.Fletch: How the hell did I miss.
