Basic Trope: A level that very obviously declares itself to be the last one.
  • Straight:
    • "The Finale"
    • "Level FINAL"
    • "The Journey's End"
  • Exaggerated:
  • Downplayed: "Almost The Final Level"
  • Justified: Evulz named it like that.
  • Inverted:
    • "The Very First Level"
    • "Level START"
    • "Journey's Beginning"
  • Subverted: "Probably Not The Final Level"
  • Double Subverted: "Probably Not The Final Level, But I'm Just kidding, This IS Indeed The Final Level"
  • Zig-Zagged: "Probably Not The Final Level"... but it acts like it is the final level, and even has the Final Boss. However, suddenly, the True Final Boss shows up, and the adventurers chase him, so it seems like it wasn't the final level after all. But in that exact same level, the adventurers fight the True Final Boss, so it is the final level... until another level appears that is actually the final level.
  • Averted: There is no final level, or at least no level named like this.
  • Lampshaded: "So this has to be the end, right? It was named the Journey's End and everything."
  • Defied: "This Is Not The Final Level"
  • Discussed: "Once you make it to the Journey's End-" "Let me guess. This adventure will finally be over?"
  • Conversed: "'The Journey's End'? There's no way this isn't the final level, right?"
