- Double Subverted: There is, however, another prophecy. This is the one that Sir George was truely following.

- Old man tells very detailed prophecy, after that narrative work ends, since old man completely spoiled the plot.
- The prophecy is a silly limerick that makes no sense. The seer gets very offended when called out on it.
- Zig Zagged: The prophecy is rejected, reinstated, and replaced several times.
- Averted: There are no prophecies.

- Exploited: The heroes are able to anticipate what will happen with their knowledge of the prophecy.
