Basic Trope: A Cosmic Entity that is roughly equal and opposite to the main God.

  • Straight: In the Tropeverse, existence is a constant struggle between Aryliss, Goddess of Light, Life and Order; and Borrubub, God of Dark, Death and Chaos. Mortals worship Her, and fear Him.
  • Exaggerated: In the Tropeverse, existence is a constant struggle between Aryliss, Goddess of Good, Life, Light, Love, Beauty and Truth; and Borububb, God of Evil, Death, Darkness, Horror and Deception. Mortals worship, love and revere Her, but fear and hate Him. Except for the evil ones.
  • Downplayed: In the Tropeverse, existence is a constant struggle between Aryliss, Goddess of Light, and Borububb, God of Darkness. Mortals worship Her out of love, and Him out of fear, but both are seen as an essential part of existence.
  • Justified: Each is the Anthropomorphic Personification of fundamental opposing tendencies within the universe.
  • Inverted: ???
  • Subverted: Aryliss is the one, true, all powerful God; Borububb Her first imperfect creation.
  • Double Subverted: Or so the corrupt High Priestess of Aryliss informs her flock. Really, Borububb is, and was originally considered, Aryliss' equal but opposite counterpart.
  • Parodied: In the Tropeverse, existence is a constant struggle between Aryliss, Goddess of Bacon; and Borrubub, God of Neckties.
  • Zig-Zagged: ???
  • Averted:
    • The Tropeverse has no Gods.
    • Aryliss is the only Cosmic Entity of any significance.
  • Enforced: ???
  • Lampshaded: ???
  • Invoked: ???
  • Exploited: ???
  • Defied: ???
  • Discussed: ???
  • Conversed: ???
