- Alice and Bob are exhausted from a battle they were just in and don't have any energy to move to their quarters.

- Alice and Bob are cold and huddle together for warmth. They fall asleep against each other's shoulders.
- Inverted: Alice and Bob fall asleep with their feet next to each other's heads.

- Double Subverted: After some thinking, Alice moves back into this position.
