- Subverted: Alice says she has big feet, but they're close to average.

- But she takes of her average-sized shoes and reveals some massive feet fitting in there.
- She's 5'1, so her feet do look big for her size.
- Your Average Is Our Extreme: For you Americans her feet are average sized, but here in Tropistan that's 10 sizes above what most brands sell in.
- Parodied:
- A group of explorers is tracking some footprints, so huge they MUST be Bigfoot's. When they find the source, it's actually Alice.
- A shoemaker is taking the measure of a boat. She needs them to make some shoes for Alice.
- Every time Alice gets new shoes made for her, her feet grow another size.
- Zig-Zagged: Various scenes are shown of Alice tripping over her big feet, stepping on others' toes, and being teased for them.
- Averted: Alice is 6'2, but she can find high heels easily.
- Enforced:
- An actress with big feet is playing Alice, so someone adds a related joke to the script.
- The original script had a joke about Bob having a Teeny Weenie or a Gag Penis, but the writers had to change it due to complaints from the censors.

- Alice goes down a mountain using her very large feet as skis.
- Her big feet lead Alice to become friends with a Sasquatch.
- Defied: Alice has bound her feet since very little.
- Discussed: "You wear thirteens and still want to become a model? That's not a foot, that's a boat."
