- A character who was central to the adult content of the original version of the series looks in her closet, sees a skeleton in a bikini, and slams the door shut — a Sight Gag about how she has some rather risqué skeletons in her closet.
- Kaito is seen looking at the original H-manga Akiko came from. She is embarrassed about it and claims she needed the money, well that and the artist is a pervert.
- Deconstructed: After a couple family-friendly episodes, it turns out that an evil dictator who looks like the show's producer is censoring the world of the show.
- Reconstructed: The world after the dictator is defeated is still pretty family-friendly and idealistic, if much less repressed than before.
