- Exaggerated: Russia has literally taken over the world since the end of the Cold War, with the entire world now being controlled by the Greater Soviet Union.
- Downplayed: Russia is the dominant power in Asia and Eastern Europe, but is still contested elsewhere.
- Justified: The setting is an Alternate History scenario where most or all of history manages to play out in Russia's favor.
