Basic Trope: Attractive artificial or cybernetic women.

  • Straight: AL1C3 is a sexy cute gynoid.
  • Exaggerated:
  • Downplayed:
    • AL1C3 is an artificial cyborg.
    • Fembot
    • AL1C3 have some cute humanoid features but is otherwise clearly robotic and would never be able to pass as human.
  • Justified:
    • AL1C3 was built to be a Ninja.
    • AL1C3 was created as a robot copy of Princess Alice to be offered as the Standard Hero Reward instead of Alice herself.
    • AL1C3 was made by Trope Co. in order to exploit Sex Sells.
    • Alice, now AL1C3, was formerly a supermodel before becoming a cyborg.
    • AL1C3 is a Replacement Goldfish of the attractive Alice.
    • AL1C3's female shell was a last-minute decision in order to release the robotic entity earlier than intended.
    • AL1C3 is a cybernetics model.
    • AL1C3 was built for a job that involves a lot of human interactions, such as old age care or companionship, and thus a non-threatening human design is right for the job.
    • AL1C3 is the A100000 for the new Alice in Wonderland ride opening in 2055.
  • Inverted:
  • Gender Inverted Robot Boy: AL3X is an android modelled after a pretty hunky guy, perhaps a Bishōnen.
  • Subverted: AL1C3 is actually just a Robot Girl fan who indulges in a made-up persona.
  • Double Subverted: ...Until she's forced to become a full-body cyborg.
  • Parodied: ???
  • Zig Zagged: AL1C3 is just a fangirl with a Robot Girl persona, until forced to become one for real. However, she eventually returns to organic life, but comes to miss some of her roboticness. Thus AL1C3 becomes a sexy cute cyborg, but even then...
  • Averted: Robots either don't exist or nobody uses the technology to make attractive women.
  • Enforced: "Too many feminists are complaining about the show, but the whole point is that there are no women. Hmm, why not introduce robot girls?"
  • Lampshaded: "It's bad enough you design a killbot, but why the hell does it have to have such a huge rack too?!"
  • Invoked: Bob, fed up with dating, constructs AL1C3 to have a sweet and pure girl to romance instead.
  • Exploited: Evulz has AL1C3 use her sex appeal to completely disarm her targets before assassinating them.
  • Defied: Bob refuses to use his revolutionary technology to make sexy cute robot girls, instead advancing robotics in general and other fields with his discoveries.
  • Discussed:
"Robotics technology has gotten pretty advanced, and we clearly know how to make female constructs so..."
"Yes, I do think Robot Girls will soon be an emergent technology, though the ethics does make things complicated."
  • Conversed:
Person A: "What is up with people and making sexy cute machine girls!? That honestly just seems perverse and sexist to me!"
Person B: "Yes, just as perverse and sexist as an organic girl being born. The Robot Girl herself decides what kind of person she'll be, not her fault men fetishize her species."
  • Implied: Alice, a somewhat mysterious girl, frequently finds her limbs getting covered by magnets.
  • Deconstructed:
    • AL1C3 and other robot girls are seen as property & tools to be used by humanity. Thus AL1C3's people are treated as a Servant Race that humanity is racist towards, the average human seeing their enslavement as no less ethical than using any other item freely.
    • AL1C3 spends most of her life alone, as she's too robotic to be appreciated by humanity and too human like to be appreciated by her fellow robots.
  • Reconstructed:
    • Though robot girls may be artificial lifeforms, it eventually becomes clear they are alive. Thus AL1C3's people gradually see more equality, until eventually their presence as a species becomes ubiquitous enough that nobody sees them as odd.
    • The majority of robots are emotionless, and therefore do not discriminate against AL1C3 because they are incapable of hatred or disgust. Even so, AL1C3 feels she doesn't fit in because of her own emotions, and is still bothered by her inability to properly mimic humans, as that was what she was designed for.
  • Played For Laughs: AL1C3, clearly a Robot Girl, nonetheless enjoys trying to be a Big Eater and Skinny Dipping- Emphasis on try, as she ends up adorably glitching out instead.
  • Played For Drama:
    • AL1C3, having always been uncomfortable with her artificial nature, falls into depression upon realizing she can't have children with her boyfriend Bob.
    • AL1C3, though humanlike, comes to recognize the difference between her and real humans. Thus, poor AL1C3 is left feeling all alone.
    • AL1C3 isn't treated at all as alive, and eventually finds herself being callously murdered because people refused to acknowledge her sentience.
