- Alice's "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue reveals her future to be sex-free.

- Subverted: In Alice's flashback, her father drags her into a room, closes and locks the door and proceeds to remove his belt...which he uses to hit her.
- Double Subverted:...but once he's done hitting her, he takes off his pants and boxers before proceeding to it.

- Exploited: The Big Bad intentionally references events from Alice's rape so that the memories torture her psychologically.
- Defied: Upon getting her hands on time travel, Alice immediately uses it to undo her past rape.
- Implied: Alice is a Shrinking Violet, Does Not Like Men, Hates Being Touched, is sympathetic and supportive to other rape victims in the story, has nightmares about being assaulted and mentions seeing a therapist.
- Discussed: "Wow, can you believe Alice was raped in her past? She seems totally okay!" "Well, it did happen a long time ago, so Alice clearly had time to adjust and heal."
