- Zig Zagged: Bob opens a door, but no water comes out. Then a wall breaks open and water floods out. Then the water evaporates. Then the water condenses again and drenches Bob.
- Averted: Bob made sure that no water appliances were still running before he left the room.

- Lampshaded: “How did that even happen? There was a space under the door!”
- Invoked: Bob wants to play a prank on Alice, so an hour before she has a shower, he leaves the bathroom tap going so she’ll be hit by a flood when she opens the door.
- Exploited: It’s an extremely hot day, so Bob is refreshingly cooled down when the blast hits him.
- Defied: Bob opens the door, but instantly closes the door when he sees the water, stopping most of it from flowing out.
