Basic Trope: Mexico regains its old territories.
- Straight: Mexico invades the USA and regains Texas.
- Exaggerated: Mexico invades the USA and regains Texas, California, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and parts of Colorado, Wyoming, Oklahoma and Kansas.
- Mexico conquers all the American territory.
- Mexico Takes Over the World. Hope Mexico begins to call itself either "Imperio Mexicano" (Mexican Empire) again or "Tercer Imperio Mexicano" (Third Mexican Empire) or any longer name.
- Mexico conquers all the American territory.
- Downplayed: The USA's government gives Texas to Mexico after discusing that diplomaticly.
- Justified:
- Mexicans wanted their old territories, and they obtained them invading the USA.
- In this Universe, USA became weaker than in Real Life (or Mexico became stronger) and Mexico could invade it.
- Russia, China or another USA's enemy helped Mexico to invade the USA in Revenge by the conflicts that they've had with the USA.
- Inverted: The United States invades Mexico.
- Parodied: Mexico invades the USA successfully with aliens' help and obtains Texas simply to gloat that it ''could'' invade USA... and all the world ignores that Mexico needed the aliens' help. Aliens get angry and invade Mexico too.
- Subverted: Mexico tries to regain Texas, but the American army beats the Mexican Army in minutes.
- Double-Subverted: Mexico has reserves and luck (like in the Battle of Puebla) and defeats the USA.
- Enforced:
- Invoked:
- Mexico begins to spend money for better guns and to training its soldiers to make them capable to defeat the American army.
- Russia helps Mexico.
- Aliens help Mexico.
- Exploited: Mexico uses the economy of Texas (or any state that Mexico had gotten) to make its own economy grow.
- If Mexico obtains California, can control Hollywood and the cinema industry in general.
- Defied:
- Mexico doesn't even try this because USA is clearly stronger than it.
- The USA defeats Mexico on the battle or threats Mexico with invading it in Revenge if Mexico joins any conspiracy against it.
