- Downplayed: The episode focuses on Alice getting injured while roller skating. At the end, she says, "I will never roller skate again... well, maybe sometimes."
- Justified: It's completely reasonable for Alice not to want her house to catch fire again.
- Inverted: The episode is about Alice's house catching fire. At the end, Emperor Evulz sets it on fire again.
- Subverted: Alice's house catches fire because she left the paper towels near the stove. At the end, Alice decides to never leave paper towels by the stove again, but it doesn't work; another fire starts some other way.
