- The kangaroo is large enough for a full-grown adult to fit in the pouch, or is otherwise abnormal.

- Bob cannot fit in the kangaroo's pouch, despite realistically being small enough to.
- The kangaroo somehow rides around in Bob.
- Bob rides on the kangaroo's back.
- Subverted: Bob starts to get into Alice's pouch, but then either he changes his mind or she refuses to let him ride in her pouch, and so he goes alongside her by some other means.

- Parodied: It's a Fantasy Counterpart Culture of the Land Down Under where all the Human Aliens who rule the roost travel this way, rightly or wrongly thinking themselves Too Important to Walk.
