Basic Trope: It's always one specific season throughout the entire show's run.

  • Straight: Alice and Bob almost always takes place in the spring no matter what, and every other season is only mentioned in passing.
  • Exaggerated: Literally the only season to exist in this universe is spring!
  • Downplayed: Most of the episodes are in spring, but there is the odd episode set in summer.
  • Justified:
    • It's always one specific season due to the climate (or a change to the climate) of the planetary setting. note
    • Alice and Bob takes place in the tropics, so the events on the show always take place during warm and humid weather.
  • Inverted: It shifts to summer, autumn or winter, but never spring.
  • Subverted: Alice and Bob always starts in spring. But in season 2, it shifts to summer.
  • Double Subverted: But it reverts back to spring in season 3.
  • Parodied: It's always winter - in fact, it's always Christmas Day. Santa cannot get a break!
  • Zig Zagged: Sometimes, the show shifts to different seasons, natural or not.
  • Averted: ???
  • Enforced: ???
  • Lampshaded: "Bob, have you noticed that it's still warm outside? Not summer warm. Just warm enough to wear sweaters."
  • Invoked: A group of space-dwellers decide to land on a planet without an axial tilt.
  • Exploited: ???
  • Defied: After an episode regarding a heat wave, the following episodes shift to summer.
  • Discussed: ???
  • Conversed: "Why is it always spring in this show?"
  • Played for Laughs:
Alice: Evulz, will you ever stop committing evil acts?!
Evulz: Eventually... in the summer! Mw ha ha ha!
  • Implied: The season is never mentioned but it seems like spring.
