Basic Trope: Solidified light waves.
- Straight: Lilian the Magical Girl Warrior uses her light-based powers to conjure a sword and shield to fight her enemies with.
- Exaggerated: Lilian's conjured light can build an entire city structure that's sturdy enough for millions of people to live on it, and durable enough to withstand natural disasters, such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and meteor strikes.
- Downplayed: Lilian's light can take a tangible form, but isn't solid enough to have a fixed structure. The only weapon she can conjure with it is a whip or lasso, and her light definitely can't act as a shield.
- Justified: Lilian's light is made of densely-packed subatomic particles that prevents any matter from phasing through it.
- Inverted: Lilian's light is so "soft" it just phases through everything. It's not even visible because it just passes through the optical lens.
- Subverted: Lilian's weapons aren't really made of light. They're normal metal equipment that emit light because it's imbued with magic.
- Double Subverted: The metal parts are just wire-like frames meant to hold together the light's shape. The cutting and defense power of Lilian's weapons truly comes from the light.
- Parodied: Lilian wants to build a tree house made of light. Instead of conjuring a fully-fledged building, she makes planks, boards, hammers and nails out of her light, and builds the structure as though they are regular materials.
- Zig Zagged: ...Except it's all fake. Lilian's light merely serve as a distraction while she inflicts pain sensation and redirects enemy attacks using her psychic powers.
- Averted: Lilian's light powers can't take solid forms.
- Enforced: ???
- Lampshaded: "Did your light just block a blow from an ax?"
- Invoked: ???
- Exploited: Lilian's teammates relies on her powers to create weapons and armours for them. This saves them from having to carry around heavy armoury, and pretty much nullify the cost of having to fix and/or upgrade their equipment all the time.
- Defied: Emperor Evulz develops a beam scattering device that causes any hard light structure to immediately fall apart.
- Discussed: "This is Lilian, the Warrior of Light. Before you ask, yes, her weapons and armours are made of pure light."
- Conversed: "Lilian is so overpowered. How does 'the ability to manipulate light' translate into 'the ability to create anything'?"
- Deconstructed: Lilian gets cancer due to an overexposure to her light's overly concentrated radiation.
- Reconstructed: Lilian changes the radiation wavelength of the light energy she conjures and converts it into a type that kills cancer.
