Basic Trope: A character kicks ass, without clothing.
- Straight: A naked Bob takes on a group of Mooks.
- Exaggerated:
- The Mooks Bob is fighting are also naked.
- Bob is completely and utterly incapable of fighting unless he's naked, to the point that actually wearing clothes severely weakens him for no discernible reason.
- A gang of Mooks strip Alice naked and attempt to rape her, but she fights back and beats all of them.
- Downplayed:
- Bob fights the Mooks wearing a Modesty Towel.
- Bob fights the Mooks in Goofy Print Underwear.
- Justified:
- Bob has some form of defense such as magic or a force field that doesn't work well while wearing clothes or armor.
- Bob's been in a lot of tense fights recently, and the extensive damage he's taken has reduced his clothes to little but rags. As a result, he tears off what's left to avoid it getting snagged on an enemy's weapon.
- The Mooks snuck up on Bob while he was in the shower/getting dressed/Skinny Dipping, etc.
- Bob is a member of a Proud Warrior Race who rejects clothing as a way of saying they're not afraid of their enemies.
- Bob fights using an One-Winged Angel form which destroys his clothes upon transforming.
- The Mooks never expected Bob to be willing to take them on while naked, thus giving him the element of surprise.
- Bob fights in the nude to distract the Mooks.
- Alternatively: Bob fights in the nude to intimidate the Mooks.
- Bob has no concept about nudity.
- Bob is a zombie and is unaware that he's in the nude.
- Cloth getting in the wound is a major infection risk - while he might take more scrapes nudity keeps them from being infected.
- Shed Armor, Gain Speed
- Bob is a Dance Battler with highly complex moves, clothing would get in the way.
- Bob had his clothing stolen before he was imprisoned and has to steal clothes off the mooks, who are obviously not going to let him do so.
- Bob's superpowers include Made of Iron, so clothing isn't necessary for the battle.
- Inverted:
- Bobs fights a group of naked Mooks, who are shocked to see him clothed.
- Defeat by Modesty
- Subverted: As the fight begins, it looks like Bob is naked- then the Censor Shadow wears off, and it turns out he's just wearing tight clothing.
- Double Subverted: However, shortly into the fight, Bob Battle Strips out of his outfit and ends up fighting naked anyway.
- Parodied:
- While gearing up for a fight, Bob strips off his clothes, claiming it's an ancient Chinese method of combat. His opponent, who is Chinese, has no idea what he's talking about.
- When Bob strips naked in preparation for battle, his enemies cover their eyes and run away in terror.
- Videos of Alice fighting naked are leaked out. While initially embarrassed, Alice later finds it a good warning to those who try to attack her or other women in the future.
- Zig Zagged: Bob gets ambushed while showering, and has to fight a pack of Mooks naked, however, the first chance he gets, he grabs a Modesty Towel, only for it to get torn off as the fight continues, and then Bob puts on the emergency bathrobe he has stored under a floor board for such situations...
- Averted: Characters always fight fully clothed.
- Enforced: Fanservice.
- Lampshaded:
- "So that was a pretty good fight, huh, Alice?" "Bob... Please Put Some Clothes On."
- "Why are you nake- Are you here to fight me or take a bath?!"
- Implied: Outside the healer's house everyone everyone's clothes are seen either drying or their scraps are beyond salvaging - except for Bob.
- Invoked:
- Bob is fighting against Stalker with a Crush Victoria, who shoots him with a Nudifier ray so she can see him naked. She wasn't counting on him continuing the fight, though.
- Bob's go-to reaction to any combat is to charge in nude.
- Bob is trying to prove a point that dignity is only another weakness in combat.
- Exploited:
- Bob is fighting alongside Love Interest Alice, and fights naked so he can judge her reaction to his body.
- The mooks turn the thermostat down and mock Bob's ...deficiencies, in order to get an edge.
- Defied:
- Bob refuses to take his clothes off for a fight, even though the temperature in the room is downright steaming and it would probably be more convenient to fight naked.
- Evulz refuses to fight the naked Bob, to the point of using Gorgeous Garment Generation to force clothes upon him before they battle.
- "Bob… if you ever take your clothes off in a battle scenario around me, I'll show you how harshly I enforce the morality clauses in your contract."
- Discussed:
- Conversed: ???
- Deconstructed:
- Without his gear and weapons, even the lowliest of Mooks stands a chance against a naked Bob.
- Fighting naked leaves Bob Exposed to the Elements, and the longer the fight goes on, the colder he gets.
- Reconstructed:
- Fortunately, the fact that Bob is naked distracts the Mooks long enough for him to land a decisive blow.
- On the other hand, being naked allows Bob to steal the enemy's outfits, which are actually much more suited to the local elements then his own.
- Played For Laughs: The mooks all charge at Bob... and then run fleeing from a naked and screaming Bob, who chases them offscreen.
- Played For Drama:
- It serve to emphasize how inhuman and insane Bob has become.
- Bob was kidnapped and kept as a Sex Slave and has just broken out. After he escapes and finds his way back to his friends, he breaks down and sobs in their arms.
- Played For Horror:
- Escalating the first "played for drama" bullet point, the story makes a point of describing in exact detail how Bob is laughing like a hyena and subjecting his enemies to Cruel And Unusual Deaths and bathing in their blood]] with his penis showing and very visibly aroused and maybe even going all the way. This is pure Fan Disservice.
- Bob does not just kicks people's asses while nude. He rapes them.
