- Straight: When King Bob XI is in control, Troperia is a paradise where there is plentiful harvests and food to go along, and the court isn't corrupt. However the second Emperor Evulz takes control, the crops become rotton, there's mass famine everywhere, and the court only helps themselves.
- Exaggerated: Troperia was a Sugar Bowl when Bob is in control, the second Evulz takes control, it turns into a Crapsack World.
- Downplayed: Evulz tries to appease the citizens, but because he is self-serving, the state of Troperia could always be better.
- Justified: In Tales of Troperia The Powers That Be will location will change based off of it's ruler
