Basic Trope: A character's instant Berserk Button is the stupidity of others.

- Summer's zero patience for Danny's stupidity has caused her to snap and beat up Danny, which unfortunately earned her life in prison.
- Because Summer has zero patience for Danny's incompetence, he turns on her and finds a new friend who doesn't get easily angered at his downfalls.
- Summer gets so tired of Danny's stupidity, she can't think straight and does something stupid herself.

- But Summer couldn't care less as long as she's away from Danny. That is until she's surrounded by a inmate who is just as stupid as him.

- Played For Laughs: At every end of the episode, Danny does or says something so stupid that this provokes the wrath of Summer, who beats him senseless, although he is too stupid to realize he's in pain.

- Summer is always irritated with Danny's incompetent decisions as well as foolish behavior, but what was the last straw for Summer is that he unknowingly led a masked man to bomb up the school.
- Summer chastises Danny so harshly that Danny breaks down in tears, which Summer may or may not (at least not openly *) regret.
- Played For Horror: Summer is a Theme Serial Killer. The theme is "the culling of the marching blockheads".
- Implied: Summer, who is normally bubbly, is serious and aloof with Danny, who has been established as The Ditz, and doesn't interact with him when she doesn't have to.
