Basic Trope: A school that consists of an elementary school, a Junior High, and a High School as part of the same institution.

  • Straight: Troperville school is a school with grades K-12.
  • Exaggerated: The school begins with preschool, and goes all the way up to grad school.
  • Downplayed: Troperville contains a middle school and a high school.
  • Justified: Doing it that way made fiscal sense.
  • Inverted: There are separate schools for each individual grade.
  • Subverted:
    • The elementary school, although located nearby, is not affiliated in any way with the junior high or the high school.
    • There is a school building across the street from the junior high school, but it's a Catholic school or some other type of private school, not affiliated in any way with the public school.
  • Double Subverted:
    • The junior high and the high school are affiliated, however.
    • The kids from the public school and the private school see each other at sporting events, school dances, and the like. Some of the events are even put on by both schools jointly.
  • Parodied: The teachers move right up with the students.
  • Zig Zagged: ???
  • Averted:
    • The three schools are completely separate institutions.
    • The series does not deal with any kind of school.
  • Enforced:
  • Lampshaded: ???
  • Invoked: ???
  • Exploited: College students who are training to become teachers can get hands-on experience by observing and teaching in the classrooms of the affiliated schools.
  • Defied: ???
  • Discussed: ???
  • Conversed: ???
