- Double Subverted: After the checkup ends, Dr. Molarmasher expresses disappointment in the patient's teeth being healthy and how he was so looking forward to going to town on the patient's teeth.
- Parodied: Dr. Molarmasher relishes inflicting pain on a new patient, but the patient reveals that his teeth are dentures.
