Basic Trope: A woman kills her partner after getting pregnant.
- Straight: Jason and Violet have sex and Violet gets pregnant. The day that she realises this, she shoots Jason.
- Exaggerated: Once Jason and Violet are done having sex, Alice pulls out a gun and shoots him. As he bleeds to death, she reassures him that their child will be the Ultimate Life Form and will take over the world, and even whispers "You're a true hero, Jason" right before the screen blacks out.
- Downplayed: When Violet gets pregnant, she locks Jason up in her basement.
- Justified:
- Jason was a Complete Monster and Violet is a Mole who uses him to conceive a child, which she intends to raise with her wife, before shooting him to stop him from committing any murders.
- Jason and Violet are (meant to be) Black Widows, Praying Mantises or any other species for which this is Truth in Television.
- Subverted: Violet pulls a gun on Jason after getting pregnant, but it turns out it's just her weird fetish.
- Double Subverted: ...because she's practicing for her plan to kill him once the baby is born.
- Inverted: Jason and Violet have sex and Violet gets pregnant. The day that she realises this, Jason shoots her.
- Averted: Violet doesn't kill Jason.
- Parodied: When Jason and Violet are done having sex, Violet's belly swells up into the shape of a club and clobbers Jason with enough force to kill him.
- Zig Zagged: ???
- Enforced: This is what made the real Violet infamous enough to have a documentary made about her … while Jason was a Composite Character of many of her victims.

- Invoked: Violet was a Stalker with a Test Tube who originally just wanted to have Jason's baby, but The Corrupter suggests to her that she can't risk letting anyone else raise her "perfect" baby.
