- Downplayed: Bob uses the company credit card to purchase additional office supplies, but forgets to include that charge in his expense report.
- Justified: This is perfectly doable fraud.
- Inverted: Bob is such a stickler for rules that he refuses to use his company credit card to pay for even a fast food dinner for the family.
- Subverted: Bob buys a fancy dinner with the company credit card, but it turns out that was actually what he was supposed to do, as his company was hoping to get the restaurant's sponsorship.
- Double Subverted: The food was covered, but not the wine.
- Parodied:
- Zig-Zagged: Bob spends the company card on a good meal, a hotel room and a rental car from the airport but spends his own money on buying snacks and a souvenir for his wife.
- Averted: Bob doesn't use the company credit card to buy any lavish items for himself.
- Enforced: "We want some fancy Food Porn, but Bob definitely can't afford all that." "What if he abuses the company card?"
- Lampshaded:
- Invoked: Bob's Evil Mentor advises him that he can get away with this as the company doesn't track purchases very closely.
- Exploited: Bob's rival Charlie notices Bob doing this and uses it as blackmail material.
- Defied: The company tracks the credit card purchases very closely and abuse will lead to instant firing.
