Basic Trope: The work ends and people responsible for making the work are listed.

  • Straight: Movie ends. The names of all the people who contributed to the work are listed.
  • Exaggerated: The closing credits lists several thousand names.
  • Downplayed: It's a small independent movie. When it ends, a single person is listed.
  • Justified: The movie is about making a movie. The final scene ends with the person writing down names of all involved in the movie.
  • Inverted: Opening Credits.
  • Subverted: Movie ends with screen fading to black. The text "By" appears but no people are listed.
  • Double Subverted: Movie ends and screen fades to black. After five minutes of blackness, suddenly the names of the creators appear.
  • Parodied: The closing credits list completely random names.
  • Averted: The movie ends but no credits appear.
  • Enforced: The closing credits is present because everyone who contributed to making the movie would b e credited.
