- Georgia is stuck there and the author wants Bob to play the hero.
- Bob is a Kindhearted Cat Lover, and he wants to save Georgia from the tree in a heartbeat.
- Firefighters are responding to a nearby fire with a ladder truck. Once it's out, they help with getting the cat down since they're already nearby.
- The tree's on fire.
- Inverted:
- A dog is stuck up the tree.
- The cat has to get the human down the tree.
- A tiny Planimal is too scared to climb off a cat.
- Subverted:
- Georgia climbs up a tree and won't come down. Bob comes to her rescue, but at that moment Georgia gets down on her own in one graceful leap.
- Georgia claws Bob's face open for pulling her away from her 3 o'clock sunbathing spot.
- Double Subverted: Georgia climbs up a tree and won't come down. Bob comes to help her, but at that moment Georgia gets down on her own. But then a moment later she climbs up and won't get down again, meowing loudly.
- Parodied:
- Georgia can talk and says "Dude, I won't go down just because. I am not stuck, I just like it up here!" Alice, her human, freaks out though and pleads with Bob to get her poor kitty down.
- Georgia is a massive tiger "stuck" in a sapling. Anyone who tries to get near her is viciously mauled. They have to call the fire brigade and later even military gets involved.
- Zig Zagged: Georgia climbs up and down a tree. Bob tries to get her down, but every time he does it, the cat climbs back again.
- Averted: Georgia doesn't climb a tree.
