Basic Trope: A character eats a large amount of food that is/was intended to be eaten by a group.
- Straight: Bob eats four whole pizzas, which were intended for the guests at his birthday party.
- Exaggerated: David the lord eats 1000 kilos of bread, which was his servants' yearly food supply.
- Subverted: Bob eats a whole pizza and assumes he once again made the mistake of eating everyone's food, but by now his family understands his eating habits and hid away the rest of the pizzas.
- Inverted: There were several pizzas meant solely for Bob... but at a party they are inadvertedly found, and the guests eat them.
- Double Subverted: ... Except Bob found and ate those too.
